Diophantine Equations

Work done during summer 2015 (May 18, 2015 to June 16, 2015). Supported by INSPIRE SHE.
Learned the general methods available for solving degree one and two Diophantine equations in two/three unknowns. Studied the proof of Mordell’s Theorem for curves with a rational point of order two, following Silverman’s book “Rational Points on Elliptic Curves.”
